About Tara Michelle Interior Design
Tara Michelle Interior Design is a Yorkshire based interior design studio creating beautiful homes for both private residential clients and developers nationwide. At Tara Michelle, we believe our homes are the one place we should truly enjoy spending time. This philosophy is at the core of every project, leading to carefully considered spaces our clients are proud to call home.
Our Story
Although Tara Michelle Interior Design was established in 2023, lead designer Tara has been designing homes for over 10 years. In addition to designing homes, Tara founded the homeware brand No18 interiors, which fast became a 6-figure business. Winning multiple business awards and featuring in prestigious magazines such as ‘British Vogue’ and ‘The world of interiors’, No18 has also featured on BBC Radio and Sky TV.
Whilst running No18, Tara had minimal time to focus on interior design projects and soon felt unfilled as a designer. After the birth of her first baby in 2023, the decision was made that her CEO status at No18 would come to an end. This was a huge decision, but ultimately one which delivers a better work/life balance, enabling complete focus on interior design.

At Tara Michelle, we understand our client’s interior design requirements are unique. Briefs, budgets, and desired outcomes can vary significantly. There is no ‘one size fits all’ approach when it comes to interior design. That’s why we tailor each project to our individual clients needs, offering a friendly personable service (we’re from Yorkshire after all).
